Position: School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location: New Britain, CT
Schedule: Full-time
Caseload: Elementary students, range of disabilities within inclusion setting (approx. 50 students)
Hours: 35 hours/week, Monday–Friday
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: June 9, 2025
Responsibilities:

Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with speech, language, voice, fluency, and communication disorders.

Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers, parents, and other school staff.
-
Conduct screenings and evaluate student progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed.
-
Provide direct and consultative therapy services in individual and group settings.
-
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and services.
-
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student academic and social success.
-
Serve as a resource for staff regarding communication strategies and accommodations.
Required Credentials / Non-Negotiables:

Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
-
Active CT State SLP License
-
Professional competency as a speech-language pathologist
-
Prior school-based experience required
