Schedule: Full-Time | School Hours (Typical: 7–8 hours/day)

Contract Dates: 2025–2026 School Year

Pay Rate: $47–$52 per hour (based on experience)
Role Overview:
As a school-based Speech Language Pathologist, you will assess, plan, and provide individualized therapy to support students’ communication and language development. You will work closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to foster student success in the classroom and beyond.
Typical Responsibilities:

Conduct evaluations and assessments of students’ speech, language, and communication skills

Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on assessment results
-
Provide direct speech-language therapy services in classrooms, therapy rooms, or other school settings
-
Document student progress and maintain accurate records
-
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure effective support for students

Ensure compliance with all Connecticut state and district guidelines for speech-language services
Requirements:
Applicants must meet all Connecticut state requirements for Speech Language Pathologists, including:

Valid Connecticut SLP License
-
Master’s or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
-
Completion of a supervised clinical fellowship (CF)

Knowledge of IDEA and other relevant federal and state special education regulations

Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
