Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Henderson, NV
Serve as a Speech-Language Pathologist providing essential support to K-12 students within a dynamic school district in the Las Vegas area. This full-time, on-site contract position requires a commitment for the duration of the current school year, offering an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on a diverse student population.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver assessment, diagnosis, and therapeutic interventions to K-12 students with speech and language disorders
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain comprehensive documentation and progress reports compliant with district and state guidelines
- Participate actively in meetings and trainings to support student success and professional growth
- Adapt services to meet a varied caseload, with assignments and locations subject to change
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology completed
- Active NV Department of Education Certification and NV Speech-Language Pathologist License
- Clinical Fellowship (SLP-CF) status acceptable; preference given to candidates holding Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Minimum of 0 years up to 10+ years of experience in a school setting preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Able to work full-time on-site; part-time, hybrid, or virtual arrangements are not available
- Bilingual skills are an advantage but not required
