Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in Indian Springs, NV
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the current school year in Indian Springs, NV. This role supports K-12 students in an in-person setting, providing comprehensive speech and language services to approximately 40 children across all grade levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students requiring speech and language support.
- Deliver direct therapy sessions to students, addressing articulation, language processing, fluency, and voice disorders.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and educational staff to support student progress and communicate therapy goals.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school and state regulations.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development and review of educational plans.
Desired Qualifications:
- Certified Speech-Language Pathologist with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) preferred.
- Experience working with school-aged children in K-12 settings.
- Strong pediatric SLP skills, including assessment and intervention techniques.
- Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 40 clients.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Understanding of educational regulations and ethical standards related to school-based therapy.
