A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for a school-based position located near Needville, TX. This role serves students from PreK through 3rd grade, with potential involvement in evaluations for other grade levels. The position is contract-based for the current school year (CSY) and requires an ASAP start.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing direct speech-language therapy to elementary students, primarily PreK-3rd grade
- Conducting evaluations and assessments, possibly extending beyond assigned grades
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student communication needs
- Documentation and reporting consistent with school policies and state regulations
- Supervising an SLPA for therapy services if applicable and experienced in the school setting
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Experience working in schools preferred
- Pediatrics experience valued
- Teletherapy experience is a plus but not required
- Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates may be considered
- SLPA candidates considered if school-based experience is demonstrated
