Step into a valued role supporting young learners as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist serving preschool early intervention programs in Carbon and Lehigh Counties. This contract position is ideal for SLPs who thrive in dynamic environments and are passionate about working with children, from PreK through 12th grade. You’ll deliver itinerant services that adapt with students’ needs throughout the school year, offering a meaningful impact across diverse educational settings.
Key Qualifications:
- Current, active Pennsylvania Speech-Language Pathologist licensure
- Valid educator credential (Instructional I or II)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Previous experience in school-based or early intervention settings is highly valued
- Flexibility to provide itinerant services and adjust to caseload changes (PreK to 12th grade)
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Ability to commute to either Carbon County or Lehigh County
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct SLP services to preschool children in early intervention programs
- Assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEPs
- Transition assignment to support school-age students as needed during the academic year
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student outcomes
- Maintain up-to-date documentation and participate in annual reviews and meetings
