ProCare Therapy is partnering with a respected school district in Antioch, TN, to fill a full-time SLP position for the 2025–2026 school year. This role is ideal for a clinician who values clear expectations, organized environments, and the ability to focus on providing high-quality services without being overwhelmed.

You'll work with a well-managed elementary school caseload of around 56 students, receiving the backing of a team that understands how critical speech-language services are to student development and classroom success.

Key Responsibilities

As the school’s on-site Speech-Language Pathologist, you will provide services to elementary students with a variety of needs, including speech delays, articulation disorders, language processing issues, and social-pragmatic challenges.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting formal and informal evaluations for initial referrals and re-evaluations

• Developing individualized IEP goals based on assessment results and team input

• Delivering speech-language therapy in individual or small group settings

• Documenting services accurately and submitting progress notes on time

• Participating in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team sessions

• Consulting with general education teachers to support communication goals in the classroom

• Communicating regularly with families to promote carryover of skills at home

• Maintaining compliance with federal and state special education guidelines

About the Caseload

The position covers a caseload of approximately 56 elementary students, all located within one building. The school has a history of providing strong support for related service providers, including dedicated time for evaluations, meetings, and documentation. Caseload numbers are monitored closely to ensure SLPs can provide high-quality, ethical services without burnout.

This caseload includes:

• A mix of general education and special education students

• Varying levels of service needs (mild-moderate complexity)

• IEP, RTI/MTSS, and consultative models

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences

• Valid Tennessee SLP license (or ability to obtain before start date)

• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred

• CFs will be considered and provided with full supervision

• Prior experience in school-based settings is a plus

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Excellent organization and time management
