ProCare Therapy is currently seeking a seasoned and motivated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time position in an elementary school setting in Antioch, TN, for the 2025–2026 academic year. Position Summary

The Speech-Language Pathologist will manage a caseload of approximately 56 elementary students, providing both direct and indirect services, conducting assessments, leading IEP development, and consulting with classroom teachers and staff. You will be responsible for ensuring each student receives the support they need to succeed academically and socially, through comprehensive and individualized communication services.

You will be the primary SLP for this school site, and your insight and collaboration will be key in helping the team meet compliance requirements and student-specific goals with efficiency and compassion.

What You’ll Be Responsible For:

• Conducting thorough speech and language assessments, including initial evaluations and re-evaluations

• Creating and managing legally compliant, data-informed IEPs

• Delivering direct therapy services to students individually and in small groups

• Tracking and reporting student progress toward IEP goals

• Participating in and leading IEP meetings as needed

• Collaborating with general education and special education staff, counselors, psychologists, and administrators

• Supporting and educating staff on how to embed communication strategies into daily instruction

• Serving as a knowledgeable resource for speech-language development and disorders

• Supporting the onboarding or mentoring of newer clinicians or CFs (if desired)

Qualifications & Competencies

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders

• Active Tennessee state license (or eligibility to obtain before the school year starts)

• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA is strongly preferred

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a school or pediatric setting

• Working knowledge of IDEA, IEP writing platforms, and school documentation systems

• Comfortable with leading meetings, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and communicating with families

• Strong problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills

• A proactive mindset and ability to work independently while supporting district goals
