Speech Language Pathologist - Remote Elementary Position | Nashua, NH

This position serves elementary students (grades K-5) with speech and language needs. You'll work approximately 37 hours per week with a caseload of 45-55 students who require support for articulation and phonological disorders, language delays affecting vocabulary and grammar, fluency disorders including stuttering, pragmatic and social communication difficulties, and voice disorders. Through engaging virtual sessions, you'll help students develop the communication skills essential for academic and social success.
Your Responsibilities Include:
Conducting comprehensive speech and language evaluations using standardized assessments and clinical observation / Writing detailed evaluation reports with diagnostic impressions and treatment recommendations / Developing individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals / Providing direct therapy services through individual and group sessions / Creating engaging telepractice activities that maintain student attention and progress / Monitoring and documenting student progress toward communication goals / Collaborating with teachers to integrate speech/language strategies into classroom instruction / Consulting with families regarding home practice and carryover activities / Participating in IEP meetings and annual reviews / Maintaining compliance with Medicaid billing and documentation requirements when applicable.
Required Qualifications:
? ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) ? Active New Hampshire Speech Language Pathologist license ? Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders ? 2+ years of experience in school settings ? Strong knowledge of pediatric speech and language development ? Excellent interpersonal and communication skills ? Proficiency with teletherapy platforms and technology ? Ability to adapt materials and strategies for virtual delivery

POSITION OVERVIEW: This virtual SLP position focuses on middle and high school students (grades 6-12) requiring speech and language services. Working 35-37.5 hours weekly, you'll manage a caseload of 50-60 students with diverse needs including language disorders affecting reading comprehension and written expression, articulation errors persisting into adolescence, social communication and pragmatic language deficits, fluency disorders impacting classroom participation, voice disorders, and augmentative and alternative communication needs. The virtual format allows you to reach students across multiple locations while providing individualized therapy that addresses age-appropriate communication demands.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Conduct speech and language evaluations including comprehensive assessments of articulation, language, voice, fluency, and pragmatics / Analyze evaluation data and write thorough reports with diagnostic conclusions / Develop treatment plans targeting functional communication goals relevant to academic and social settings / Deliver teletherapy services using evidence-based intervention approaches / Create digital therapy materials that engage adolescent learners / Document student progress and adjust treatment approaches based on data / Collaborate with teachers regarding classroom accommodations and modifications / Provide consultation on assistive technology and AAC devices when appropriate / Communicate regularly with families about student progress and home strategies / Participate in IEP development and annual review meetings / Ensure compliance with state and federal special education regulations.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS—Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA (CCC-SLP), current New Hampshire SLP licensure, Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology, minimum 2 years school-based experience, strong understanding of adolescent language development and disorders, experience with literacy-based language intervention preferred, comfort with technology and virtual service delivery models, excellent time management and organizational abilities, strong written and verbal communication skills for remote collaboration.
