A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the remainder of the school year, from January 26, 2026, to June 19, 2026, contingent upon snow days. This role is based onsite at a high school in Derry, NH, providing services five days per week.
Work hours are from 7:15 AM to 2:15 PM, Monday through Friday, with faculty and department meetings held twice a month on Wednesdays. The position requires a candidate to hold valid SLP licensure in the state of New Hampshire, as well as certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
Key qualifications and experience:
- Valid New Hampshire SLP licensure
- Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Experience working within school settings, particularly with high school-aged students
- Ability to collaborate with faculty during scheduled meetings
- Strong communication and organizational skills for managing caseloads onsite
Primary responsibilities include:
- Conducting speech and language assessments and therapy for students
- Collaborating with educators and support staff to implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Monitoring student progress and maintaining detailed records
- Participating in faculty and department meetings to discuss student needs and program development
