School Speech Language Pathologist - Remote Therapy Services | Nashua, NH
The Role
Remote speech-language pathology positions serve student caseloads typically ranging from 40-60 individuals across diverse ages, grades, and communication needs. Full-time schedules encompass 35-37.5 hours weekly including all aspects of school-based SLP practice - direct therapy, assessments, report writing, IEP meetings, collaboration, and documentation. You'll work with students presenting various communication challenges such as speech sound disorders affecting intelligibility, language disorders impacting comprehension or expression, fluency disorders including stuttering, voice disorders, and social communication difficulties. Teletherapy platforms designed specifically for speech services provide interactive tools, engaging digital activities, virtual manipulatives, and assessment capabilities that support effective intervention in online formats.
Core Responsibilities: Deliver evidence-based speech-language therapy through live video sessions targeting individualized communication goals | Conduct comprehensive evaluations using standardized assessments, informal measures, and clinical observation to identify communication disorders | Write thorough evaluation reports documenting assessment procedures, results, diagnostic conclusions, and service recommendations | Participate actively in IEP team meetings presenting evaluation findings, progress updates, and continuing recommendations | Develop measurable, functional IEP goals addressing priority communication needs aligned with educational standards | Plan engaging therapy activities appropriate for students' age, interests, and needs adapted for virtual delivery | Implement systematic data collection monitoring progress toward established goals | Analyze progress data to evaluate intervention effectiveness and modify approaches as indicated | Collaborate with classroom teachers sharing communication strategies and accommodations | Consult with parents providing progress updates, home practice suggestions, and communication support strategies | Complete required documentation including session notes, data sheets, progress reports, and compliance paperwork within established timelines | Maintain current knowledge of speech-language pathology through professional development and clinical best practices | Uphold professional ethics and confidentiality standards
Requirements: Active Speech-Language Pathology license in New Hampshire | ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) | Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Sciences and Disorders, or related field | Two years minimum experience providing speech-language services in school-based settings | Clinical competence addressing various communication disorders across age ranges | Technology proficiency for teletherapy including video platforms and digital tools | Dependable high-speed internet and professional home workspace | Strong communication skills for interaction with students, families, and school teams | Organizational abilities managing caseload and multiple responsibilities
