Located in Cape Coral, FL, this full-time Speech Language Pathologist position supports K-12 students throughout the school year contract (2025-2026). Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language pathology evaluations, interventions, and progress monitoring for students ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Supervise SLP Assistants when applicable to ensure quality care and compliance with service delivery guidelines
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all relevant state and district regulations
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology
- Valid Florida teacher certification and/or state licensure in speech-language pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) or candidate status (SLP-CF) preferred
- Experience working with school-aged children across various grade levels
- Ability to manage varied caseloads and adapt to multiple school settings
- Supervisory experience is advantageous, especially for overseeing SLP Assistants
This position requires on-site work and offers a comprehensive full-time schedule of approximately 37.5 hours per week, with some consideration for part-time arrangements. The contract runs through the school year, ending June 1, 2026, with immediate start possibilities.
