Pediatric School Speech Pathology | Aurora, Illinois
Providing speech-language services in an educational environment, this role supports students aged 5–22 through assessment, therapy, and collaboration within a K-12 district-wide model in Aurora, IL. This contract-to-hire position assigns the clinician to a single school site, offering a focused setting with the flexibility of part-time hours and the potential for full-time through compensatory scheduling.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering direct speech-language therapy and conducting comprehensive assessments
- Participating in IEP development and team meetings
- Completing required documentation and progress reports in a timely manner
- Providing compensatory services as needed to meet student goals
- Working independently at the assigned school site while engaging in virtual supervision for CFY candidates
Qualifications and credentials:
- Illinois Speech-Language Pathology License and Professional Educator License (PEL)
- Successful completion of fingerprinting prior to start date
- Experience with school-aged populations and the ability to serve students district-wide
- Strong skills in assessment, therapy, and documentation; CFY candidates are encouraged to apply
Position details:
- Immediate start date, through May 29, 2026
- Flexible scheduling, 11–14 hours per week part-time or full-time with compensatory hours
