Pediatric School-Based SLP | Aurora, Illinois
Located in Aurora, IL, this contract-to-hire opportunity seeks a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support school-aged students within a district-wide setting. Key Qualifications:
- Illinois Speech-Language Pathology License and Professional Educator License (PEL)
- Experience with school-aged populations, including assessment, therapy, and documentation
- Ability to manage caseload district-wide, providing direct services and participating in IEP meetings
- CFY candidates are encouraged to apply, with virtual supervision available
- Required fingerprinting prior to start
Location:
- Aurora, Illinois
- Non-itinerant, assigned to a single school site
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy to students aged 5–22 years
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to inform individualized education plans
- Develop and participate in IEP meetings and provide necessary compensatory services if applicable
- Complete all required documentation and reports in a timely manner
- Maintain flexible scheduling with options for part-time (11–14 hours/week) or full-time based on compensatory hour arrangements
