School Speech Therapist - Joliet, Illinois

This opportunity is for an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide support in a K-12 school setting located in Joliet, IL. The position is a contract role for the current school year, starting ASAP through May 15, 2026, with a part-time schedule of 15 hours per week from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, including a one-hour lunch break. This role offers valuable hands-on experience working onsite with students from various grade levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language pathology services to K-12 students based on caseload requirements (caseload to be determined).
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support individual student goals.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with district and state guidelines.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to individualized education plans (IEPs).
Qualifications:
- Professional Educator License (PEL) with Speech-Language Pathologist endorsement.
- Strong knowledge of school-based SLP practices and experience with K-12 populations.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Ability to work onsite in the Joliet, IL area.
