Pediatric Speech Therapist in Des Plaines, IL
This position offers a unique opportunity to serve as a bilingual Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in a vibrant K-12 school district in the Chicago area. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and therapy for students in early childhood through K-12 settings.
- Manage caseloads across multiple school sites, with assignments potentially spanning more than one location.
- Provide individualized treatment plans and progress monitoring in compliance with school district guidelines.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student development.
- Supervision available for Speech Language Pathologists in their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
Qualifications:
- Current Illinois Professional Educator License with Speech Language Pathology (SLP) endorsement.
- Illinois State SLP License.
- Proficiency in both English and Spanish, with ability to deliver bilingual services.
- Experience in pediatric healthcare or school settings preferred.
- Open to candidates in their CFY with the provision of required supervision.
Location: On-site positions available within multiple schools in the Elgin/Chicago area, Illinois.
