A full-time, contract position is available for a Bilingual Speech Language Pathologist (English and Spanish) serving K-12 students within a public school setting in the Chicago area. This role is on-site only and involves working with multiple early childhood and elementary schools to provide speech-language services.
Location: Elgin, IL (Chicago area)
Contract Duration: ASAP start through 05/20/2026
Work Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
Assignment Details:
- Service will be provided across multiple school sites, including early childhood programs.
- Caseloads will vary depending on the specific school assignment, potentially involving itinerant evaluation services.
- Supervision is available for Clinical Fellows.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License with SLP endorsement.
- Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist license required.
- Fluency in English and Spanish required to provide bilingual services.
- Experience working in educational or school-based speech therapy settings preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech-language assessments and provide individualized therapy services to students.
- Collaborate with educational staff and families to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district policies and procedures.
- Provide evaluation and therapy services across multiple school sites as assigned.
Additional Information:
- This position is not open to virtual or voice-over contract options and requires on-site presence.
- Contract agreement is confirmed and in place for this position.
