Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist in Naperville, IL
This opportunity is designed for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide specialized support within an early childhood setting. Located in Naperville, IL, this contract role spans approximately 6 to 8 weeks, starting at the end of February, with a work schedule of 32.5 hours per week (8:05 AM to 3:05 PM).
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech therapy services to an early childhood caseload of 30-40 students.
- Address speech-related disabilities, including developmental delay and autism.
- Manage grade-level speech caseload within one early childhood school.
- Utilize the Embrace IEP system for documentation and progress tracking.
- Provide onsite speech-language pathology services.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Possession of a Professional Educator License (PEL) with SLP Endorsement.
- Experience working in pediatric settings, particularly early childhood education.
- Familiarity with speech-only caseloads and developmental disorders such as autism.
- Competence in using IEP software systems, preferably Embrace.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, families, and educational staff.
Location and Environment:
- Onsite position at an early childhood school in Naperville, IL.
- Work directly with young students requiring speech therapy interventions.
