Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in Naperville, IL
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available at a K-6 school serving students from kindergarten through sixth grade. This contract role begins ASAP and runs through the next school year.
Located in Naperville, IL, the position entails a standard Monday through Friday schedule, from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The caseload typically includes 40 to 45 students, providing ample opportunity to engage with a diverse group and make a significant impact in a classroom-based setting.
Key qualifications and skills for this opportunity include:
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience with pediatric populations in educational settings
- Familiarity with teletherapy service delivery methods
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred
- Strong background working with K-12 school-aged children
- Ability to create individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs
Primary responsibilities include evaluating students’ speech and language abilities, delivering individual and group therapy sessions, and collaborating with educators and parents to support student communication goals.
