Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist - Joliet, Illinois
A rewarding opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students in a Therapeutic Day School serving children and young adults with high-needs autism spectrum disorders and other developmental disabilities. Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or current SLP Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
- Experience in schools, pediatrics, healthcare, or teletherapy settings preferred
Position Details:

- Schedule: 30 hours per week, 4 days per week
- Age Group Served: 5-22 years
- Caseload: Varies, focused on students with developmental disabilities
Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized and group therapy for students with speech and language impairments, including those on the autism spectrum
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective treatment plans
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and regulatory standards
- Utilize teletherapy techniques as needed to maximize student engagement and outcomes
