A school district in Burbank, IL, is seeking two Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for the 2025-2026 school year to support K-12 students, primarily within elementary and middle school programs, focusing on Autism. This contract position runs from August 13, 2025, through May 27, 2026, offering an opportunity to deliver in-person services that make a direct impact on students’ communication and learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language services to a caseload of approximately 35-40 students.
- Work primarily with students in the Autism program within elementary and middle school settings.
- Deliver individualized therapy aligned with school guidelines and best practices.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district and state regulations.
Required Qualifications:
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence).
- Valid State license to practice as an SLP in a school setting.
- Experience or interest in working with students with Autism spectrum disorders is highly preferred.
- Commitment to in-person service delivery; remote options are not available.
- Candidates completing Clinical Fellowship experience are eligible if mentorship is provided by their agency.
Work Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, 8:15 AM to 3:15 PM.
