A temporary contract position is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support a K-12 school in Naperville, IL, during a leave period. This role is ideal for a qualified professional with expertise in school-based speech-language services who is looking to make an immediate impact in a supportive educational environment.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) certification and licensure appropriate for school settings
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology preferred
  • Experience working with K-12 students in schools, demonstrating strong knowledge of school-based therapy protocols
  • Ability to conduct speech and language evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide direct therapy services
  • Strong communication skills for collaboration with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Flexibility and adaptability to manage a leave coverage position effectively

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing speech and language therapy to students with diverse communication needs
  • Collaborating closely with teachers, parents, and other staff to support student progress
  • Conducting assessments and maintaining thorough documentation in accordance with school policies
