School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Joliet, Illinois
This opportunity is ideal for a bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist with experience in school settings, ready to make a meaningful impact on young learners. The position is a contract role based in Joliet, IL, starting between January and April 2026. The focus will be on preschool-aged children, with a manageable caseload of fewer than 20 students, allowing for personalized and attentive therapy services.
Key qualifications and skills include:
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or equivalent experience
- Experience and comfort working within a school environment, preferably with preschool-aged children
- Bilingual abilities, enabling effective communication and therapy delivery to diverse student populations
Primary responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and provide speech-language therapy to preschool children within the school setting
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each student
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress and development
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school and regulatory standards
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, 8:15 AM to 3:45 PM
