A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is needed to provide maternity leave coverage at an elementary-focused school in Napa, CA. This contract role runs from March 30 to June 3, with a preferred start date of April 13 to coincide with the beginning of the maternity leave. Overlap during the week of March 30 is ideal to ensure a smooth transition. Please note the school has spring break from April 6-10.
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services primarily to elementary-aged students
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver direct therapy sessions
- Collaborate with educators and families to support student communication goals
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with school policies
- Participate in team meetings and progress reporting as required
Qualifications:
- Valid California Speech-Language Pathology license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Experience working with elementary school populations
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work full-time for the contract duration
