A full-time, on-site Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in a K-12 school located in Caldwell, ID. This contract role spans the complete school year (CSY) and requires a dedicated professional experienced in school-based speech-language pathology.
Key Qualifications:
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Experience working within K-12 educational settings
- Strong skills in assessment, individualized therapy planning, and collaborative communication with educators and families
- Ability to provide direct speech and language services to students on-site; remote or teletherapy arrangements are not applicable
- Candidates must be licensed and credentialed to practice in the school setting; Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) will not be considered
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students
- Develop and implement tailored treatment plans based on individual student needs
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and federal guidelines
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to individualized education program (IEP) development
Work Location:
- Onsite at the K-12 school facility in Caldwell, Idaho
