School-Based Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Contract Role in Myerstown, PA
Soliant Health is excited to announce a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic Speech Language Pathologist to join their team in Myerstown, PA for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year. Job Description & Responsibilities: As a Speech Language Pathologist in this role, you will be responsible for providing a range of services to students who require support with speech, language, and communication challenges. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments and evaluations of students' speech and language skills.
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to address each student’s unique needs.
- Collaborating closely with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to ensure effective support and intervention.
- Monitoring and documenting students' progress and adjusting treatment plans as needed.
- Providing direct and indirect therapy services, including individual and group sessions.
Requirements:
- Must possess an active or pending state SLP license for Pennsylvania.
- ASHA certification is highly desirable and will be considered a significant advantage.
- Previous experience working in a school setting is preferred but not required; we welcome candidates with diverse professional backgrounds.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and school staff.
