Speech Language Pathologist in Riverside, CA
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to support elementary school students in Riverside, CA. This contract role is to cover a leave of absence and involves working with a K-8 caseload. The ideal candidate will hold a valid California license and a Clear Credential (CTC) for school settings, with experience providing speech and language services in schools.
Responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech and language disorders in students from kindergarten through eighth grade. The SLP will design and implement individualized therapy plans, collaborate with teachers and parents, and maintain thorough documentation of student progress. Providing direct intervention and participating in multidisciplinary team meetings are key parts of the role.
Qualifications:
- Valid California Speech-Language Pathology license (CCC-SLP required)
- California Clear Teaching Credential (CTC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience working in school settings, specifically elementary and middle school (K-8)
- Ability to manage a caseload and deliver individualized therapy services
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with educators, parents, and support staff
