Responsibilities
-
Evaluate and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in K–12 students
-
Create and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals

Provide therapy services and collaborate with teachers and families

Maintain accurate records per Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) requirements
Qualifications
-
Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathology license (or eligibility to obtain)

Professional Educator License (PEL) with an SLP endorsement (or willingness to pursue)

Understanding of IDEA and IEP compliance standards

Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills
