- Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure students can participate in classroom activities alongside their peers to include fine motor skills, visual-motor integration, sensory processing, and self-care skills
- Help modify tasks or the environment to support student’s needs
- Perform diagnostic and evaluation testing as appropriate
- Deliver clear, comprehensive, and insightful reports based on completed student assessments and observations
- Develop and maintain IEP objectives and/or accommodations
- Collaborate and effectively communicate with parents and peers to discuss students’ developmental progress and areas requiring support
Qualifications:
- Must hold or be qualified to hold an Illinois state license
- Demonstrate strong communication skills and work well with a collaborative team
- Ability to be flexible and problem solve
