Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, though strong Clinical Fellows may be considered
- Experience with pediatric caseloads in school settings is highly desirable
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary teams
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech, communication, and language disorders
- Deliver direct therapy services to children, using evidence-based interventions
- Participate in IEP meetings, draft progress notes, and maintain detailed records to meet compliance standards
- Support teachers and staff with strategies to enhance communication in the classroom
- Engage families in their child’s progress and therapy goals
- Stay current with best practices and continuing education in pediatric speech-language pathology
