Provide comprehensive speech-language pathology services within a K-12 school setting, supporting students’ communication development and educational success. This full-time, on-site contract role is based in North Charleston, SC, serving a diverse student population across multiple schools.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting thorough assessments and evaluations of speech, language, and communication skills.
- Developing, implementing, and monitoring Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
- Delivering direct therapy services to students across all grade levels, from kindergarten through 12th grade.
- Collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school district policies.
Qualifications and experience:
- Current and active South Carolina state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC required).
- No consideration will be given to Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) or Clinical Fellows (CFs).
- Experience working with a K-12 caseload preferred.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple caseloads and work within a school-based multidisciplinary team.
Location: North Charleston, South Carolina
Employment type: Full-time contract from January to May 28, 2026, Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours per week.
