Job Overview
This is a full-time, school-based travel role in a Mount Pleasant district. You’ll provide therapy, collaborate with stakeholders, and support student communication goals. Assignments run on the academic calendar, with options for extension or new placements.
What Does a Travel Contract Mean?
Travel SLP contracts are temporary assignments, typically for a semester or school year. They let you bring clinical services where needed, while getting non-taxed housing and meals/incidental stipends, competitive pay, and a chance to experience a new location. Contracts may be extended or renewed; when one ends, you can choose a new assignment.
Responsibilities

Administer speech, language, and communication evaluations per district standards

Develop and implement IEP goals

Provide therapy in individual and group settings

Monitor student progress and maintain documentation

Collaborate with teachers and parents to support communication development

Participate in IEP meetings and team discussions
Requirements

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology

SC SLP licensure (or eligibility prior to start)

CCC-SLP preferred; CFY candidates welcome

Experience working in school or pediatric settings is beneficial

Excellent communication and organizational skills
