School Speech Language Pathologist - Moundville, AL

If you’re an experienced school-based Speech-Language Pathologist with ASHA CCCs, or currently completing your Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), or if you have a background in teletherapy, this position could be the perfect match for your skills and passion. You’ll collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other specialists, providing direct services and guidance to support each student’s unique needs.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid SLP licensure or certification to practice in the state
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility as a Clinical Fellow (CFY)
- Experience working in school settings, preferably with K-12 students
- Proficiency or experience in teletherapy a strong plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct language, speech, and hearing screenings
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans for students
- Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports
- Work closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student goals
- Provide therapy sessions (in-person or via teletherapy) tailored to individual and group needs
