School-Based SLP | West Chester, Pennsylvania
Bring your expertise in Speech-Language Pathology to a collaborative early intervention program supporting students across a range of communities near West Chester, PA. Step into an established team focused on delivering high-quality speech and language services to young learners. Whether you’re able to dedicate full-time hours (35 hours per week, 8:00 a.m.—3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday) or are available for part-time work (at least two days per week), your contributions will be highly valued. Flexibility to serve students in one established geographical area is essential, as you’ll be helping to meet a significant community need.
Ideal background and qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid SLP license in Pennsylvania
- Pennsylvania Department of Education Certificate (PDE Cert) or Emergency Certificate
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous experience working in school-based or early intervention settings highly desirable
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Key responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to preschool and young elementary students
- Collaborate with families, educators, and related service providers to develop and implement customized intervention plans
- Actively participate in team meetings and maintain thorough documentation
- Adapt to different service locations within your assigned area as needed
