A full-time, fully licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Hamburg, NJ, serving an elementary school within Warren County. This maternity leave coverage position supports Pre-K through 8th grade students and offers a structured 32.5-hour workweek from 7:50 AM to 3:05 PM, Monday through Friday. The contract runs from ASAP through May 29, 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to Pre-K to 8th-grade students to address communication disorders.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Conduct assessments, documentation, and progress monitoring in compliance with state and district guidelines.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary approaches for student support.
Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist, with current certification (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Experience working in school settings with pediatric populations.
- Ability to manage a caseload effectively and maintain accurate records.
- Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with staff, parents, and students.
- Must be fully licensed; candidates with Clinical Fellowships (CFs) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) are not eligible.
