An immediate opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with school experience to support students across three schools in Morris and Minooka, Illinois. This full-time position runs from ASAP through May 2026, with a caseload focused primarily on elementary to junior high students, many of whom are on the autism spectrum.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech-language therapy services to students across three schools, including one in Morris (20 students) and two in Minooka (8 and 7 students).
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to students' unique communication needs, with an emphasis on supporting those on the autism spectrum.
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to integrate speech therapy goals into the broader educational framework.
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy techniques as necessary.
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with educational and clinical standards.
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist certification with relevant school-based experience.
- Experience working with pediatric caseloads, specifically elementary and junior high students.
- Demonstrated ability to support students on the autism spectrum.
- Flexibility to travel between multiple school sites within the region.
- Candidates currently holding a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) are encouraged to apply.
- While local candidates are preferred, travel therapists open to work in this area will be considered.
Location: Morris and Minooka, Illinois (Travel between sites required).
