This full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position serves a K-12 special education cooperative in the Joliet, IL area for the 2025/2026 school year. The contract runs from ASAP through May 2026 and offers an opportunity to work with diverse student populations across three schools.
Responsibilities include providing direct speech-language therapy services to elementary and junior high students on the Autism spectrum, managing caseloads of approximately 35 students distributed among three schools (one school with 20 students and two schools with 8 and 7 students each). The role requires collaboration with educators and support staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and implement effective speech and language interventions.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid SLP Certification with school-based experience
- CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology) highly preferred
- Experience working with students on the Autism spectrum
- Ability to manage caseloads and maintain detailed documentation
- Strong communication and collaboration skills within a school setting

- Position is based in Grundy County, IL, covering schools in Morris and Minooka
