Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist in a school setting. This full-time, onsite position follows a recent late resignation and is available immediately. You’ll make a direct impact as you provide speech and language services across multiple locations, including Morris, Gardner, and South Wilmington.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active SLP license in Illinois (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous experience delivering speech therapy in schools preferred
- Ability to conduct assessments, develop and implement IEPs, and maintain required documentation
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between multiple school sites
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Core Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ speech, language, and communication abilities to determine program eligibility and service needs
- Develop individualized treatment plans and strategies in line with IEP goals
- Deliver evidence-based, direct therapy to students individually and in small groups
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support student progress
- Document student performance and maintain thorough records for compliance and reporting
- Contribute as a valued member of the multidisciplinary team to create positive educational outcomes
