School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Moreno Valley, California

In this role, you'll provide specialized speech and language services to young learners with mild to moderate needs, all at a single site for an engaging and consistent work environment. Collaborate with a dedicated education team as you help students build essential communication skills that make a meaningful difference in their academic and social experiences.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Must hold a current CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology) or be eligible as a CFY-SLP
- Demonstrated experience or coursework with school-aged populations, particularly elementary students
- Background with mild to moderate communication needs is preferred
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing student needs
Responsibilities and Key Duties:
- Conduct thorough assessments and screenings for elementary students
- Develop, implement, and track Individualized Education Program (IEP) speech and language goals
- Provide direct therapy and interventions for students with mild to moderate caseloads
- Maintain accurate records and data collection in accordance with school policies
- Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to support student progress
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive, child-centered school culture
