Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist in Riverside, CA
This position seeks a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services within a K-12 school setting in Riverside, CA. The role involves delivering speech and language support to students with diverse needs, utilizing expertise in school-based therapy, healthcare-related SLP practices, pediatric care, teletherapy, and experience as a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) SLP. This contract position spans the current school year (CSY).
Key responsibilities include:
- Assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech and language disorders in students
- Collaborating with educators, families, and healthcare professionals to implement individualized treatment plans
- Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings to support student progress
- Conducting therapy sessions both in-person and via teletherapy platforms
- Documenting progress and maintaining accurate records in compliance with regulatory standards
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Valid SLP certification and licensure for school-based practice
- Experience working with pediatric populations and in healthcare settings
- Proficiency in delivering teletherapy services
- Completion or active status as a Clinical Fellow Year (CFY) candidate or certified SLP
