School Speech Pathology | Riverside, California
A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available within a K-12 school setting in Riverside, CA, for the current school year on a contract basis. This role focuses on evaluating and treating students with speech and language disorders, working directly within the education system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs
- Provide therapy sessions aimed at meeting specific speech and language goals
- Regularly track and document student progress and therapy outcomes
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including educators and healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care
- Involve and educate families throughout the therapy process to support student success
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in California
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations highly desirable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills necessary to engage students, families, and team members
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Licensure and Education Requirements:
- Active license approved by the State Board of Speech-Language Pathology in California
- Master’s Degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology
