Position Details
- Position: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Assignment Dates: August 13, 2026 – May 28, 2027
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Hours: 37.5 hours per week
- Location: Near Mooresville, NC
- Compensation: $45–$55 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
Qualifications
- Active North Carolina Speech-Language Pathologist License required
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- CCC-SLP preferred
- Clinical Fellows (CF-SLPs) are encouraged to apply
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of speech, language, articulation, fluency, voice, and pragmatic language disorders
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct speech-language evaluations and assessments
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on student needs
- Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, administrators, and related service providers
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal development and educational planning
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance records
- Utilize evidence-based interventions to support communication growth and academic success
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy strategies as needed
