Pediatric SLP in Monument, CO
A full-time and part-time contract opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to serve school-aged children in the Monument, Colorado area, with caseloads based across multiple K-12 schools in the Colorado Springs district.
This role involves providing comprehensive speech-language services within an educational setting, supporting students through evaluations, Individualized Education Program (IEP) development, direct therapy, and indirect services. The position is full-time (37.5 hours per week) with an elementary workload focus, alongside part-time responsibilities delivering in-home services. The district follows a caseload model to manage service delivery, with assignments spanning multiple schools.
Key qualifications include:
- Colorado SLP License and a valid teaching certificate from the Colorado Department of Education (CDE)
- Experience working with pediatric populations in schools and healthcare settings
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred or eligible candidates are encouraged to apply
- Familiarity with pediatric speech-language assessments, therapy planning, and IEP processes
- Ability to provide services both onsite and in home settings as needed
Primary responsibilities include:
- Conducting speech and language evaluations and assessments for K-12 students
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
- Collaborating with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Documenting all services and maintaining compliance with district policies and regulations

- Supervision is not required for this role
