Qualifications/Desired Experience:

  • Hold current SLP (ASHA) Certification; CCC or CF accepted
  • Valid Alabama SLP license required
  • Alabama professional educator license is required (see ALSDE certification portal for details)
  • Previous experience in schools preferred
  • Comfortable supervising CFs or SLPA if CCC is held
  • Willing to work onsite; flexibility to serve one or sometimes two school locations

Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech-language services to a diverse caseload of up to 60 students
  • Serve primarily elementary and middle school students
  • Deliver therapy sessions, conduct evaluations, document progress, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
  • Supervise clinical fellows or assistants as needed (if applicable)
