Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (ASHA) license for Alabama
- Active Alabama professional educator license (Please verify via the state certification portal)
- Open to Clinical Fellows (CFs) and those with SLP-CCC credentials
- Prior experience in school settings or with pediatric populations preferred
- Willingness to provide supervision if holding SLP-CCC status
- Strong collaboration skills for working with teachers, staff, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders for diverse elementary and middle school students
- Develop personalized treatment plans and monitor progress toward IEP goals
- Document student performance and maintain compliance with school and state guidelines
- Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and parents
- If CCCs: Supervise CFs and other staff as assigned
- Primarily onsite service delivery, occasionally supporting two local schools
