Full-Time Speech Language Pathologist – Montgomery, AL
Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a full-time role with school districts in the Montgomery, Alabama area. Minimum Qualifications:
Applicants must meet all Alabama state and local requirements to be considered for this role, including:

Hold a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders

Maintain a current and active Alabama Speech-Language Pathology license issued by the Alabama Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology (ABESPA)
-
Hold or be eligible for the Alabama State Department of Education Special Services Certificate in Speech-Language Pathology (when working in public schools)
-
Successfully pass all background checks, fingerprinting, and required health screenings
-
Have prior experience as a Speech Language Pathologist in a school or pediatric setting
Applicants who do not meet these requirements will not be considered.
Typical Responsibilities:

Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEPs tailored to student needs

Deliver direct and consultative therapy services to students in both individual and group settings

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to support students' academic and social communication
-
Maintain accurate documentation of services and student progress
-
Participate in IEP meetings, team planning, and ongoing professional development
