Contract Dates: July 30, 2025 – May 22, 2026
Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a school-based opportunity in Montgomery, AL for the 2025–2026 academic year. We are seeking professionals who are passionate about supporting student communication needs and dedicated to improving outcomes for special education populations.
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet all local and state licensing and certification requirements for Speech Language Pathologists.
Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience working in school settings

Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation

Experience supporting special education students and collaborating with their families

Strong communication and organizational skills
Typical Job Duties Include:
-
Conducting evaluations and re-evaluations of students’ speech, language, and communication needs
-
Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
-
Providing direct therapy services to students in accordance with IEPs
-
Collaborating with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
-
Documenting services provided and tracking student progress
-
Participating in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions

Supporting classroom accommodations and modifications as needed
