Contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Job Opening
Blazer Jobs is currently interviewing experienced and qualified Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a full-time opportunity with school districts in the Montgomery, Alabama area. We are seeking candidates who are committed to supporting student success and collaborating within school-based teams.
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following local and state requirements:

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
-
Current and valid Alabama Speech-Language Pathology license issued by the Alabama Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology (ABESPA)
-
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), or be eligible for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
-
State and federal background checks as required by school districts
-
Recent experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
-
Ability to work collaboratively as part of an educational team
Typical Responsibilities:

Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
-
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs
-
Deliver direct and consultative therapy services to students
-
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student progress
-
Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
-
Participate in IEP meetings and other team-based planning activities
