Speech-Language Pathologist – Modesto, California
Join our team as a Speech-Language Pathologist serving students in the Modesto area, where you’ll play a key role in supporting communication, language development, and academic success. In this school-based role, you will conduct evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide evidence-based therapy to students across a range of needs.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive, school-based speech and language assessments.
• Develop individualized treatment plans aligned with student IEP goals.
• Provide direct therapy services using evidence-based practices to support communication, articulation, fluency, language, and social-pragmatic skills.
• Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to promote consistent support across learning environments.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation, progress notes, and required reports in accordance with district and state guidelines.
• Stay current with best practices and developments in the field of speech-language pathology.
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
• Active California SLP license (or eligibility in process).
• ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) preferred.
• Previous school-based experience is beneficial, but strong pediatric experience will also be considered.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
