Travel School Speech Pathology | Mobile, Alabama
A travel position is available for a licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services within two schools located in Mobile, Alabama, including Forrest Hill Elementary and nearby private schools.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to students ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade.
- Collaborate with educators and school staff to develop individualized education programs (IEPs).
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and therapy plans.
- Participate in meetings and coordinate care to support students’ communication needs.
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech Language Pathologist licensure with registration from the Board of Speech Examiners.
- Experience working within school settings, preferably with a K-12 age group.
- Ability to adapt therapy approaches to meet diverse student needs.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
Location: Mobile, Alabama (travel assignment covering Forrest Hill Elementary and a cluster of nearby private schools). This role requires on-site presence with an expected workload of approximately 35 hours per week.
Additional Details:
- Contract duration is from March 2025 through May 29, 2026.
- Candidates must be prepared to participate in a prescreen interview to assess suitability. Flexible scheduling for interviews is available between 9-11 AM or 2-3 PM EST.
- SLPA licenses issued by the Alabama Department of Education are not applicable for this role as it requires direct hire with specific licensure.
