School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Fairhope, Alabama
A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) with a current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is needed to provide services for students in grades Kindergarten through 5th grade at an elementary school in Fairhope, AL. This contract position spans from March 2025 through May 29, 2026, providing approximately 35 hours per week of on-site support focused on enhancing communication skills and speech development within a school setting.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting speech, language, and hearing assessments for K-5 students
- Developing individualized treatment plans based on assessment outcomes
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in accordance with state regulations and Board of Speech Examiners standards
- Participating in meetings and providing guidance on speech and language interventions
Required qualifications:
- Current registration with the Alabama Board of Speech Examiners
- Valid licensure in speech-language pathology, with CCC certification preferred
- Experience working with elementary-aged children (K-5)
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with educators and families
- Compliance with time-sensitive credentialing and district requirements
